NerdWallet: Socially Conscious Hub

In the summer of 2022, NerdWallet’s marketing team decided to create a new socially conscious hub page. The page would feature information and resources for consumers interested in making smart and socially responsible investing and banking decisions.

Like many landing page projects I’ve worked on, the big challenge here was not writing the content, but designing the content in a logical and seamless way for our end user. Initially, we were asked to have users complete a quiz about their specific interests before being served with relevant resources; however, after trying that route, my design partner and I though we could lay out the content in a simpler way. We instead used accordions to group resources by interest area, allowing users to navigate to relevant information without having to answer quiz questions first. The end result was a visually cleaner page and less work for the end user.
